This is a short story where a young woman working with sea animals is mysteriously contacted by a dolphin that tells her she is to be a conduit for messages from some mysterious beings that live beneath the sea. Her role is a secret one, and eventually she is able to communicate with the Monitors directly. The messages she passes deal with scientists who wish to know more about the Monitors; something they don’t want to happen. Follow her through several years of her life, as she deals with the burden of being the only person who knows her secret.
