Easy Installation: This wireless RV backup camera system is compatible with Furrion pre-wired RVs, perfectly fitting the Furrion pre-wired plug and utilizing the same mounting holes, eliminating the need for additional drilling. Installation on vehicles without pre-wired mounts is also incredibly simple—just secure the camera with screws and connect it to the vehicle’s power source. For pre-wired RVs/trailers, the camera is typically powered by turning on the vehicle’s lights.
IP69k Waterproof Camera with Night Vision: The IP69k waterproof rating ensures reliable performance in extreme weather conditions, such as heavy rain or snow. With a 120° viewing angle, it provides a perfect rear view. Equipped with 6 infrared lights and a light sensor, the infrared lights automatically activate in low-light environments, delivering clear and HD images continuouisly.
Dual Antenna for Strong Signal: The 2.4GHz proprietary wireless communication ensures a reliable digital connection with no delay between the camera and the monitor. With a high-speed reception range of up to 100 feet, it delivers real-time images without interference.
Clear 7-inch IPS Screen: The 7-inch full-color IPS screen can display clear images from up to 4 cameras, providing comprehensive coverage. It comes with both a windshield suction cup mount and a desktop stand for convenient viewing. Parking guidelines make reversing safer and more convenient.
More Upgraded Features: With loop recording, simply insert an SD card to record moments or evidence of your vehicle. The image can be set to either front view or rear view as needed. If you add more cameras to the system, it can be set to split-screen mode, allowing you to monitor your surroundings simultaneously.
For GMC/Chevrolet/Ford Owners: Newer GM vehicles use PWM power signals that will disrupt video transmission, causing flickering or signal loss. For stable performance, we recommend adding a Furrion 7-way adapter (not included) or 12V PWM filter (not included). These accessories clean the power supply for reliable operation. Tip: Not required for most other vehicle brands. To identify if PWM in your vehicle. Check your vehicle manual or ask your dealer about “PWM tail lights”.
Wireless Transmission: The BW7 system wirelessly transmits video between the camera and monitor (no video cables required). However, both units require wired power connections to ensure stable power supply and consistent performance, which is crucial for the camera to function properly. (Note: “Wireless” refers only to video transmission)
The BW7 camera system can be used as a back-up camera (wiring to the reverse lights) or and observation system (wiring to the running lights). Make sure you have whatever lights the camera(s) are wired too on when testing the cameras. If you have it connected to the running lights, then the running lights need to be on for the cameras to receive power. This is a common thing that gets overlooked when testing the camera.
