Product Description

With the MMOBIEL Ear Speaker Replacement Kit, you will be able to fix your phone in no time! Everything you need is inside this DIY Ear Speaker Kit.

CAUTION: Before dissasembling your phone, discharge your battery below 25%! A charged lithium-ion battery can catch fire or explode if accidentally punctured.

BEFORE YOU START: Please create a backup of your iPhone.

Step 1

Remove the two Pentalobe screws on the bottom edge of the iPhone.

Step 2

Use a Heat Gun or Hair Dryer, to apply mild heat to the lower edge of the iPhone, for approx. one minute.

Step 3

Apply a suction cup to the lower left corner of the display assembly.Pull up on the suction cup with firm, constant pressure, to create a slight gap between the front panel and rear case.Place the flat edge of a spudger into the gap between the screen and rear case, directly above the headphone jack, and twist the spudger to widen the gap.Slide the spudger up the side of the phone to separate the adhesive and free the clips.

Step 4

Use the suction cup to open the display, breaking the last of the adhesive. Open the iPhone like a book. The front panel is still connected to the back case on the left side of the phone.CAUTION: Do not open the display further than 90º, as it is still connected at the top by three cables that may break if stretched too far.

Step 5

Remove Phillips screws securing the Battery Connector Bracket.

Step 6

Remove the Battery Connector Bracket from the iPhone.

Step 7

Use the point of a spudger to disconnect the Battery Connector by prying it straight up from the logic board.

Step 8

Disconnect the Front Camera Flex Cable.Disconnect the Digitizer Flex Cable.Disconnect the Display Cable

Step 9

Remove the Phillips screws securing the bracket over the front panel sensor assembly connector.

Step 10

Remove the bracket.

Step 11

Disconnect the front panel sensor assembly connector from its socket on the logic board.

Step 12

Remove the front panel.

Step 13

Remove the Phillips screws securing the earpiece bracket to the front panel.

Step 14

Remove the bracket.

Step 15

Lift the front facing camera out of the way to access the ear speaker.

Step 16

Remove the following Phillips screws securing the earpiece speaker to the front panel.

Step 17

Remove the Ear Speaker.Congratulations! You have now successfully removed your Ear Speaker!To reinstall the iPhone, use the previous steps in this manual and apply them backwards.
